  34. At  the  bottom  of  the  screen  there are two rows of icons these icons are as
  35. follows.

  62. What the options are and what they do.

  64. 1  Previous Page
  65. Showes the previous page if avaiable.
  66.  
  67. 2  Next Page
  68. Showes the next page if avaiable.

  70. 3 Goto Page
  71. When  selected a window will open asking for a page number to be entered.  Enter
  72. the  number  of  the  page  you  wish to go to and press return.  If the page is
  73. avaiable it will then be displayed.

  75. 4 Previous Article
  76. Loads and displays the previous article if avaiable.
  77.  
  78. 5 Next Article
  79. Loads and displays the next article if avaiable.

  81. 6 Goto Article
  82. When selected a window will open asking for a article number to be entered.Enter
  83. the number of the article you wish to go to and press return.  If the article is
  84. avaiable it will then be displayed.

  86. 7  Search
  87. When selected a window will open asking for a search string to be entered.  Type
  88. a  word  you  wish to search for and press return.  The program will then search
  89. the current article for your entered word.  When found the page with the word in
  90. will  be  displayed  and the the word will be highlighted.  The search will then
  91. wait  for  a  keypress  to  continue  the  search or you can press ESC to abort.
  92. IMPORTANT NOTE:  The search is case sensitive

  94. 8  Help
  95. This  will  bring  up this help file.  Once loaded you can exit the help file by
  96. selecting  the Help option again.  This will then return you back to the article
  97. and  page  you were on before you selected help.  You can also exit by using the
  98. goto article or contents etc.

  100. 9  Contents
  101. This  options  loads  and displays the contents page.  The contents displays the
  102. articles in the current issue of Miggybyte.  Example:-
  103.

  106. The  number in the box is the article number.  The writing after it is the title
  107. of the article and the tag/name at the end of the line shows who wrote it.
  108. To  view  an  article  move  the mouse pointer over the line it is on.  The line
  109. should then become highlighted.  Then click a mouse button to load and view that
  110. article.   Another way is to select the Goto Article option and enter the number
  111. corresponding to that article, which will then be loaded and displayed.

  113. 10 Music
  114. This option toggles between sound FX and a music mod(s).
  115.  
  116. 11 Glossary
  117. This  option  will  load up and display a Glossary of terms used in the computer
  118. world.
  119. WARNING:  This file is huge so it may take some time to load and unpack.

  121. 12 Fig
  122. If  when reading an article you come accross [PRESS FIG BUTTTON] then select the
  123. fig  option.   Once  activated the screen will be cleared and a FIG/Picture will
  124. then  be  displayed.   If  this option is activated at any other time it will be
  125. ignored.

  127. 13 BookMark
  128. When  you  select to save a bookmark the program will note what article and page
  129. number  you  are  on  and save this out as a data file to the disk.  Please make
  130. sure the disk is write enabled if you wish to use this option.

  132. When  you  select  to  load a bookmark the program will look on the disk for the
  133. bookmark  file.   If  found  it  will  load  it in and then load and display the
  134. article at the correct page that the bookmark points to.

  136. 14 Save document to disk
  137. When selected you will be prompted to enter a file path and name, IE
  138.   DF0:miggybyte.txt
  139. Then the document you are reading will be saved to that location.
  140.  
  141. 15 Print
  142. When selected this will dump the full article to your printer.
  143.  
  144. 16 Exit
  145. When  selected  the Mag will be closed and you will be returned to the operating
  146. system
  147.

  149. Press  the  Help  key or click the help button to return to the article and page
  150. you were previously on.
